Yes I did.. Used a Canon Rebal XT with a 70-200 4L..

Awesome. I have that camera but not the lense. Im thinking about a 70-300 zoom lense though.

Your talking about the 70-300 4/5.6 IS or the 4.5-5.6 DO IS?? For around the same price you could get the 70-200 f/4 L Lens.. Like I have.. The 70-200 4L has a great sharpness, colour and contrast then the 70-300.. THe 70-300 is solf at the long end.. 70-200 f/4L and the 1.6 crop on the XT what more could you ask for..

Another good lens to use on the XT is 17-40 f/4L for around the same price...
