of course you have the aftermarket option, but even CAPA bumpers have fitment issues no matter what they promise. CAPA doesnt mean nothing but a four letter word for the insurance companies to stick it to you instead of getting OE. in some cases, the dealership I worked at refused CAPA on certain cars because they ALWAYS looked like crap, hence we called then CRAPA.... Again, I understand that CAPA ensures OE fitment but they cannot GUARANTEE it and once you spray it, its yours whether it fits or not. I have gone through that hundreds of times. There are MANY new options of materials to fix this without it being a hassle and then all you have to do is spray the lower half/blend.....I have done this MANY times as well with great results. If you go the cheap way, using the behind the back adhesive/ sand/bondo the front, then of course the potential for future issues are there... But from IES, there are products that work so good, you wont have problems..... Just speaking from years of experience, that is all
At the end of the day, it's always what the customer wants to pay and accept as an end result.
What kind of car is this for anyways?Last edited by REY; 11-13-2011 at 11:39 AM.

2000 Honda s2000, my insurance deductible is $1000, and I doubt it will cost that much to get fixed/replaced so I am trying to find the best deal...I still need to take it in for an estimate

its all about who you know. If you have someone at Honda who will match the price of the aftermarket its a win-win.
You can go either replace or repair on this. The same issue you COULD have with fitment on a new bumper you COULD have with the work of someone fixing it.
It all comes down to who does what, how they do it... and how long they are willing to warranty it for.The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it.

i got a brand new bumper for ya for $250. Paints about $200 plus the labor to install/remove the old one & taxes. And of course warrantied for life...
Let me know if thats something youd be interested in.The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it.
