Anyone awesome at panel alignment and color matching?
Here's the deal, I have a 300zx that I picked up for cheap. The previous owner appears to have gotten in a minor fender bender and they just pulled the bend out and bolted up a new fender and did a crappy rattle can paintjob on it.
It looks like crap.
I have a part's car that I can pull the body panels/parts off of to fix this car.
Problem is,
A) I suck at panel alignment
and
B) I don't have the painting tools/supplies/skills to color match it all so it doesn't look like a hack job.
The parts car is a darker gun metal grey. The car that is getting repaired is the lighter silver color.
I'm not sure what the actual damage is. It "looks" fine. but i'm sure it isn't.
I have a front bumper that needs to be swapped, the driver's fenders, and then both doors need to be realigned as they are sagging.
Ideally, I'd like to just have the new panels painted to the lighter silver color is that is possible. But I am open to painting the whole car the darker grey color if going lighter isn't an economic option.
I'm in St. Pete. I can bring the car by so you can take a look at it. Or you can come over here and see the car, and the parts car.
Part of the problem is that this car is a daily driver so the turn around time would have to be minimal.
Hit me up if you're interested.
I can provide more info and pictures if needed.
Thanks in advance.
