Easy Off oven clearner on paint?
I've bought a used car and it has the painted on pinstripes. From what I've read, the best way to get rid of the stripes is to spray the Easy Off on the stripes and let it soak for 2-3 min before wiping it down with soap/water then wax the area. It was tried by a couple people with no harm to the paint/clearcoat. I'm looking for more verification to see if this stuff would eat the paint up. Thanks.
The most overused word to describe an import: CLEAN. Every f****** car is so CLEAN.

No the easiest and best way I know, is to go to the a paint supply store and buy whats called an eraser. You attach this to a drill and at a low to medium speed rub the stripes right off. To clean off the residue lacquer thinner and a rag will get the job done.
Considering this is a used car, when you pull off that street at times the paint underneath will look fresh. So you will sometimes see a ghost of a line, its just something to think about before pulling the stripes of.
