96 VW GTI freshly painted Diamond White Pearl
figured id throw this up in here in case anyones looking for a good and affordable paint job. *understand different cars require different amounts of work and materials, 880 is what I payed for MY car. your quotes may be different, but this is what i got.
Color: Diamond White Pearl
Price for paint job: $800
Price for Pearl: $80 extra
Total: $880
I got all work and paint done by Freddy
Freddy's Auto Body Repairs
N. Church St
(813) 770-4405
this is the car how it started...(note* all done by previous owner i take no credit for its prior state haha)

after replacing a few things on my own and sending her to the shop

fresh bumper and grill, need to fit intercooler higher up so i can put a complete front end on without any cutting

im very picky about the way things are done, and was very skeptical about the outcome when i was on my way to go pick it up. I am very happy with the job he did, there is little to no orange peel anywhere, they wet sanded and buffed it very good. Also did my door jams, and rebuilt the license plate tub in the rear hatch.

to give an honest rate, id say 8.5. there is a tiny blemish on the bottom side of my rocker panel its a slight run, only one or two drops worth. Also, my rear plate tub the previous owner had filled in the seam very terribly, and he did a great job cleaning that up and bringing it back to life.
the pearl is hard to see in the pictures, but it has such a nice depth to it from the right angle and it looks great, again the orange peel is almost nowhere on the car.
very pleased, i would go back in a heart beat

looks good. Nice to see some one get a deal like this and actually be happy with the out come. also those small runs at the bottom of that rocker can most likely be buffed out.
