nice..im sure you had to use a couple of wool pads for this one haha

Japanese paint is usually pretty soft which means you have to be careful with wool pads.
I ended up using a milder setup that easily cut through the clearcoat.
Here is a final picture of the truck after more polishing and then sealant/wax.
