I honestly dont care how many years you have in. I replied to the thread to save someone some money because i think its bs that fellow members cant throw one another a deal, never insulted anyone and then your smart ass comes on throwing insults around. Im sorry if you dont see why being fare to someone is right but you dont need to get on here calling clueless hacks thats all later.

Clearly you are clueless. However, I don't know you and I have no idea if you are a hack.
A job like this runs upwards of 30 hours of book time. At a discounted labor rate of $40.00/hour there is $1,200.00 in book time. No paint materials, no quarter panel, no window seals, etc. A quarter panel runs about $350 for a decent one. Paint materials will be somewhere around $350 by the time we buy primer, sealer, base, and clear. Don't forget sandpaper, tape, paper, lacquer thinner, mixing cups, panel wipes, tac rags, wax and grease remove, booth filters, booth payment, shop rent, electricity, and on and on and on.
Seriously you need to keep your mouth shut unless you implicitly understand what it is you are talking about.
$2,000.00 is an acceptable price to have a shop do this job and I offered to do it for $1,200.00. That's 40% off so chill out and gtfo.
Not to mention why should I cut someone on here a deal? Because they have an account? If they were a friend then sure, but I've never spoken to them before in my life. And I still cut them a break. But Mr. IdontknowwhatImtalkingabout has to chime in with his .02 regardless.Central Florida Auto Works!!! lol @ this thread (particularly suprastar84).
If he knows someone that works for pennies instead of dollars, good for him. However, to the OP...you get what you pay for, and if a deal sounds too good to be true that's because it is. If someone is miraculously offering breakneck prices, it should make you wonder where he's skimping (since the price breakdown has already been provided). There are corners being cut somewhere, it's just a matter of figuring out where (I highly doubt anyone cuts corners by taking away their profit margin that puts food on the table, and still provides the very same materials and effort as the shop that charges "normal" prices).
I think you already know that the price of repair work (even the better and fair estimates) doesn't seem justified considering the resale value of your car, so that's a tough decision of whether the car deserves to be repaired or not. Good luck with your decision, and do your research (not just TR word-of-mouth) before choosing a person to do the work.

I agree to an extent, He does charge higher prices to the general public but for friends and people that are sent to him by friends he throws a deal to. I do think you are correct you should always check around i am simply giving an option and you certainly dont have to take my advise but he does do really good work. It is nice to see someone that can give there two cents without being an ass about it.

I have that quarter panel in blue, still on the car. It has damage near the gas lid but way less. Let me know 813-846-3012 text and I can send you a pic.
