You guys need to stop all this! Take your car to econo if your not well off enough to get your car painted. Its what 129 bucks? Spray paint will flake off! You get what you pay for in the auto paint industry. Hell borrow an air compressor (Free) off a friend, go to walmart or harbour freight (12-40 bucks) buy a cheap spray gun. Go buy some Nason paint or some shop line or whatever base coat clear coat and do it right. You have already prepped the shit out of the car finish it would something decent.

+1 Harbor Freight has an HVLP full size gun on sale for $12.99. I buy several of them every time they go on sale, just for shooting heavy primers. I don't even feel bad about throwing one away after I have used it a couple times. I even sprayed base out of them a couple times and they spray just fine. I imagine they would work pretty good for clear too since they seem to atomize even heavy metallics fairly well. They just aren't built for heavy use but otherwise decent guns.
A gallon of Nason clear is $100 with activator so you get 5 sprayable quarts. That should leave you with extra clear for just about any size vehicle an amateur would be painting in the first place.
Then you can offer to clear your friends carbon parts and actually make money. Or buy a little black base and tint taillights.
Prepping your car thoroughly and then painting it with anything other than automotive paint is plain stupid and ignorant.Central Florida Auto Works!!! Paint & Body Work, Fiberglass/Carbon Fiber/Kevlar, Mechanical/Fabrication/Welding Phone: (352) 274-3446 AIM: ImportGuy1208
