Anyway, I just thought I'd let the boys know I decided to give it a full 90 days before I take close-ups and other pics for them to look at and say, "OK, you were right. It's a good paint job no matter what, and a GREAT paint job for under $800."

I respect that you are happy with your paint job and price. Bottom line is the customer is happy with what he paid for.
I recently had my car painted also and am very happy. Mine was slightly higher however with having body work done first. It is painted with PPG paint. If our cars were side by side I think you would better understand the difference. You can PM me.

yeah if you are not counting tape, paper, laquer thinner, reducer, activator, and that is if it is single stage, otherwise you also have to count in the clear and the proper additives for that.
they might seem low cost since you only use a little bit for a whole car but it adds up when you are doing alot of jobs as macco does.
