Anytime I see anybody using
, I think, "Here's another fucking idiot who needs a fucking smilie/cartoon to express himself because he just doesn't know enough words to do the job."
When I see something like this,

, it's confirmed, this fuckin' guy IS an idiot."
You should have finished high school, maybe you would have learned to express yourself a little better.
And here's a tip for you, no charge, OK?
It's too late to get any of those brain cells back that you killed by huffing rattle can shit, but if you quit now, maybe you can save the few brain cells you have left.
Throw the bag and rag away, man! You're already permanently fucked up. Don't make it any worse than it already is!
Now here's the thing about age, sonny.
I have three guys in their early 20s that work for me. I talk to them a lot. So I guess when I'm talking to them or other "youngsters" like you, I tend to fall into how they talk.
You babies got a lot to learn. I nailed one of my boys who was doing a surveillance for me a couple of weeks ago.
It was a hot day. He was sitting in his vehicle, with all the windows open, listening to his fuckin" IPOD!
He was unaware, but I was doing the same surveillance. He's kinda green and it was an important job so I figured I'd back him up a little bit.
I took a different sight line, and like I say, he didn't even know I was around. I was also surveilling HIM to see how he conducted himself.
He should have and could have spotted me, but he didn't. He was focused on the target area and fuckin' hip-hop music! He wasn't paying any attention to anything else. He should have been aware of his surroundings, not just the target area and his tunes.
Listening to the fuckin' IPOD was pure idiocy and it pissed me off. Why? Because he was putting himself in danger with the distraction. A tank could have driven up behind him and he wouldn't have known it.
I snuck up behind his vehicle, reached in the back window and put the barrel of a goddam tire guage against the back of his head.
He never tried to turn around or even look in his mirror to see what was happening. He just raised his hands and said, "Whoah, man, take it easy. Take it easy. Take it easy." A couple of days later, he told me he almost pissed himself.
I LOVE dealing with you young know-it-all types. It can be a lot of laughs! I let him keep his, job by the way. Didn't even write him up. But he leaves his IPOD at home these days.
He learned a good lesson, or I at least hope he did. I think he now knows you use your ears in surveillance work too, not just your eyes. Hopefully he also learned to be aware of what's happening in a full 360 degree radius too. Ya never know what might sneak up on ya.
You're probably an all right kid yourself. But you're real defensive and you talk too much fuckin' bullshit. Way, way, way too much bullshit. It's typical for a lot of people your age, but it's still real annoying.
So take your own advice. Grow up. You sound like you think you know everything about the business you're in. Sorry, not possible. Sounds to me like you're still in car painting diapers.
Most of my growing is done, my boy. I ain't exactly at the end of the trail, but I can see it from here. But you know what? There's always time to learn something, always room for a little growth.
For example, the Maaco boys taught me a little about how a car should be painted. And I thanked them for it.
So tell me now, big mouth. What kind of pictures of my paint job do you want to see. You already said to take them early, in bright daylight and I will.
What areas do you want me to shoot? You want tight shots, wide shots, both? Tell me what pictures you want, junior, I'll post them here and we'll get some opinions on the work.Last edited by mickey; 12-20-2009 at 03:06 AM.

close ups at the jambs, around the hinge area, in about a month,. and just some close ups at the car in general. and in the nice bright sun light, or get a flash light and aim it down the side, front to back or back to front so i can see if my super amazing clear coat would have been better, oh, wait, that amazing thing is called a wet sand and buff, which is the way you finish a job.
oh, and get a life, you are more worried trying to call me out that you must sit around the computer hitting the refresh button to see when i say something,..Last edited by pure_kustoms; 12-20-2009 at 03:42 PM.

what ever it is this is not it, you don't know shit about this subject...
Mr. pro painter, i mean you are since you watched one whole paint job, not even touching the project....
you must be good..

either nason or dupont? the absolute cheapest chromabase color codes are hundreds more than the absolute most expencive nason paint codes...
i really dont see a 800 dollar paint job getting 700 dollars worth of material on it.
from what ive read of your posts, you seem more like the know it all type. after all you have spent the last week of your life dedicated to trying to show you know more about painting than painters.Branden Berger

I think you are the most annoying member on TR.

^You think those smilies mean i cant express myself? lmao.
You're one uptight fool. Give it up, Maaco did a "good" job on your car, stop arguing about it. Every person has a different opinion, there is nothing you can do or say that will change their minds. UGH

But can you really shut the hell up your arguin about something you do not do for a living or for fun. Its like me tryin to fix my toilet sure it works but i dont call myself a plumer.

Holy crap, I gave up after page 1 and two, pretty sure I saw previous crap about this
Tell yourself you've got a great paintjob all you want, go pat yourself on the back, go put some high end wax on it, I dont care what you do.
Each time someone around here that knows what they are talking about reads the BS you keep posting, it makes for a good chuckle.
Please realize that the materials alone for a NICE paintjob, which you stated you were looking for initially, cost equal to, if not more in a lot of cases than what maaco charged you for materials AND labor, so if you really think you got materials on par with a quality paintjob, and got good work too, you are only fooling yourself.

it seems to me some guys on here are hatin,if this katt got a $800 paint jog and he's happy, then more power to ya.i've done jobs with cheaper clear and paint and they still look just as good as the day it left the shop.don't bash someone for trying to save money.not everyone can afford a 4k,5k,6k,or 10k paint job.and if you put a 10k dollar paint job on a car you drive everyday then your a dumbass, and if you drop 1,000 dollars on paint for a car,you better know what your doing.it takes more then just a few years under your belt to call your self a tech.stop bashing each other and try helping.not everyone wants to hear negitive bullshit, keep that shit to yourself.and if you think that matrix and shrwin williams is the same qauilty then you really don't need tobe painting.

Long story short, it all depends on where you go. Same thing goes for parts places. You can get some douchebags at a specific place and everyone thinks ALL of their stores hire douchebags. Remember, these places are not all located in one area. Unfortunately you may have to go outside of where you live/frequent to get the service you want. Ever go into a fast food place and ALL of the workers are young dummies? Then you happen to be in another area (not that far from you) and all of the workers have common sense? As I've said before, it depends on where you go. The MAACO that I was gonna go to had a TON of good work. Walked through with the manager and he showed me some of the custom, yes custom cars they were working on and I highly doubt that with what was under the hood of those cars, the owners would settle for a $200 paint job. Even he told me you get what you pay for. You can get a $400 paint job or a $4000 paint job...it's up to you. Honestly, for $700+ and a 15 year old car, you made out pretty good. If the paint doesn't disintegrate in 6 months, you made out.
