Paint job prices
I have a charcoal gray eclipse and I was wondering how much it would cost to paint my car the same exact color. My hood and front pass fender has clear coat peeling up and a few spots I believe are down to the bare metal. Also I would need slight body repair. The rest of the paint on the chassis is in pretty good shape so I might even consider (if its possible and/or practical) only painting the hood and fender.
I'm going to be getting money soon and I wanna get some quotes....something affordable. I will post photos of the messed up paint tomorrow when its daylight. Thanks for the help guys.

If it was a Honda I would say if you were cool you would spray paint it
for paint jobs it all depends on the quality. i was told by a few places $50 per dent to take it out! Then depending on the quality $1000 + for a good paint job. You save a lot of money if you prep it yourself by sanding the pant down and what not.

if a shop doesnt have to prep it most places will paint a hood and 2 fenders for around 350 done well. the paint and prep work are the expensive parts of the job, but aslong as the prep job is done well the painting is easy.
if you do the prep take it to a macco and make sure they tape it well and you will be happy.

There s a guy on this site who'll do it for about 1k. The quality of work I've seen from him is mostly good. Might not be perfect, but its mostly good, and for the price you won't beat it. Anyone know the guy's name? I think hes a Honda dude.

Dont slap a cheap ass paint job, you will regret it. What you want is a base coat, clear coat. A decent paint job will run you from 700-1000
