Thread: Any TR detailers on here?

business is pretty good for me. I quit my job in july to detail full time. The hardest part has been trying to get a good clientbase, because there are som many wash and wax joints around here. People cant tell the difference between a detailer and a washer.

yes that is so true...i first notice it from myself. before i worked a Dayton Andrews i usually wash my cars all the time and i thought i did excellent work...but now working at Dayton Andrews with all their supplies (wire wheel acid,degrease motors, using the air hose for interiors, shampoo interiors, buffing/compound) shit...in my opinion i have become one hell of a detailer

and when i see a faded paint on a car (which can easily be restored by simply compounding it and other other steps of buffing) and i try to tell the customers or even my friends that i can make this car look basically brand new than it would look now...but of course they dont believe me
