Ready for paintjob
My 1998 Honda Accord coupe is finally back in one piece, and I'm ready to have it painted. I have a few options I'm interested in, and am willing & ready to bring the car by for accurate estimates as I know it's impossible to do this online. I've attempted PMing a few of the better-renowned painters on TR, but not having much luck getting replies.

A summary of the work I'll be needing for my car:
Front bumper
-improve fitment around headlights and fenders
-install foglights into foglight holes, making sure they’re symmetrical
Sideskirts
-improve fitment (if possible)
-modify the door sill area so it looks near-OEM
Rear bumper
-improve fitment around taillights and rear quarter panels
-install sidemarkers on the sides of license plate area
-level out the uneven rear diffuser
Hood
-paint outer portion of hood (I'll provide a sample picture) to match the body color
-paint underside of hood
-re-clearcoat topside of hood
-repair crack on underside of hood
Roof
-mask the imperfections near front windshield if possible (if overlay is indeed ruined/unrepairable)
-re-clearcoat roof overlay
Trunk
-adjust alignment of trunk
-paint underside of trunk
-re-clearcoat topside of trunk
Rest of exterior
-readjust exterior pieces to ensure all gaps are equal
-remove/reinstall items needed to paint engine bay (or around engine, depending on final decision)
-repair all damages, dents, imperfections, etc.
And these are the estimates I'll be looking for. I'm providing them in case someone I'm going to meet would like to check on the material pricing in advance.
Estimate #1
-paint exterior, including jambs & visible portion engine bay, Lamborghini Monterey Blue; brand code: 103883, paint code: 0031
-PPG Global paint
Estimate #2
-paint exterior, including jambs & visible portion engine bay, Lamborghini White aka Bianco Isis; paint code: 0060
-PPG Global paint
Estimate #3
-paint exterior, including jambs & visible portion of engine bay, Honda Taffeta White; paint code: NH-578
-PPG Global paint
If anyone is interested, feel free to reply, PM me, e-mail me (bdeitemeyer@gmail.com), or call/text me (813.422.9444) as I'm looking to get this done asap.
Thanks,

off the top of my head, i would say somewhere around 8,000 for a high quality job, I just purchased a gallon of PPg Global primer for approx 300.00 the gallon of base coat was 600.00 and the clear was 300.00 then adding all the reducers and hardeners, all materials for a 70's vw beelte we are working on is right around 2,500. - mike

Thanks for the info Mike. Off the top of your head which do you think would end up being more expensive...House of Kolor materials or PPG Global materials? How would you compare the quality between the two?

house of kolor will be cheaper for sure. But if you are talking about kandy the materials might be cheaper but I automatically charge more for kandy work as its very nerve racking to get it right. I PM'ed you.
