Chroma or Nason Paint?
hey guys im going to start painting my car myself and i have already prepped it i just need to find out what the difference is between chroma and nason paint? i know nason is a dupont product and its supposed to match oem paint... but is chroma supposed to be more expensive and better quality as in like more pearl, flake, finish... etc...? please help me out im going for a malachite green pearl on my ef sedan... i think it would look pretty sweet. i am also wanting to use a urethane b/c just because of flex on the body and stuff... thanx for helping out guys.

Just a question so dont get upset, but, why spend so much money on Global if its a "do it yourself" project? Do you a place to spray? Can you appreciate the differences between the paints and the advantages and disadvantages respectfully? Thats a lot of money for paint unless everything is blocked out staight and true and applied by someone who can put it down properly. Hate to see people spend more than they have to.

Wow dude, everything was going fine till this comment, since your such a baller why dont you go buy some STANDOX, or GLASURIT since you have money falling out of your ass.
It is also pretty apparent you do not frequent this section of the forum because its the People that are replying to this thread who Actually KNOW a thing or 2 about painting cars and im pretty sure they can afford the paint, if not they can buy the cheap shit and i guarantee it will look 1000 times better than your back yard paint job. Have fun Blowing you money all over your car and watching it run to the ground, cause i just think you burned a few bridges in here, BUT since you got all that money why not just hire chip foose to supervise. |

ACTUALLY NO ONE did that here, till you started running off at the mouth, and if you don't give a rats ass, then WHY did you post here? if you don't care what we have to say.
So when you have blown about 800 bucks in paint and it looks like shit don't come crying to this thread. - Mike |

yeah you did start it dude. And you are about to spend more money on paint than that car is worth.
As a professional I would stick to a "Mid" line paint. Rather than swinging for the fences especially on a car like that. But who are we to give you advice that you actually asked for and than get criticized for it. And since you are a big baller and can blow loads of money on paint...maybe you should rent a bigger shop? My truck wouldn't even fit in yours. Love, Josh |
