3,500-4,500+depending on inner structure/ frame damage would be about right.

Good luck with that repair. For that price....you get what you pay for. 1500, does that include the parts? I hope not.

Just because you don't know what you are doing and can't do it for $1500, don't hate!

In all seriousness, please post some pictures of the repair, I think we will all have a good laugh.

You know what gets to me, I am almost 31 and I never really knew anyone that could 'hook me up' on body work. Seems everyone else, besides me, have some form of a body/paint connection.

LMAO, thats awsome just please dont drive any friends or family around in that car, cause if your in another accident you will prolly die. And im dead serious. All that inner structure is damaged, and the frame is prolly bent as well, not to mention you are prolly going to have all used crap put back in, who is fixing it for 1500? cause structural repair on your car is NOT what you want to short cut on, and PLEASE post pics of the repair process, cause no one in their Focking right mind would fix that car even REMOTELY CORRECTLY for 1500 LMFAO, good day.

Parts alone will cost you 1500. Not including materials, and then you have labor.

I will cut it off for 1500 if you want

LOL Mango, im sorry, your right i wouldn't even cut it off for 1500.

Oh yea put it on a Chief velocity laser measuring system and tell me that again, you can not tell if a frame is damaged simply by looking at it in this day an age, and it was NOT just the body, since your car is a UNIBODY the body and frame are one in the same, and your quater panel has Major inner structure damage, and i am willing to bet the frame is also tweaked as well as your rear upper strut tower, and i can tell this all from the pics, but im sure you will find out when you start wearing tires on the left rear and cant figure out why, but maybe you will be lucky.

2nd their is NO way that it will be 1,500 bucks, it is Not possible, A NEw quater for that car is prolly 600+ and thats just for a skin, not including a outter and inner wheel house, or inner structure, which you will more than likely need, but thats ok cause for 1500 it will be a whole section from the junkyard which was pulled out of the mud and water, which will have to be cut off of the junkyard car, and then scabbed back on to your car, they may even try to hack the whole section in there without cutting it all apart, then i guess there going to prolly glue it in there cant afford to weld for 1500, no body filler and paint right over the bare metal with pastels and water colors, But hey good luck, no one can beat 1500 for that, not even MACCO or ECONO, who i refer most people like you too.

Hey for kicks and giggles why dont you take it to a body shop and get a few estimates, and talk to a few others on what it would take to get the car fixed the right way. But in the end its not my car or life.

And i dont care to see finished pics, i would like IN PROGRESS pics, cause it could look good as new on the out side an be a wicked pile of shit on the in.

This car had inner structure damage and is less damaged than your car, a new quater and inner structure was replaced on this Audi A4

BMW 7 series Door was replaced No inner structure damage.

But hey dont take my word for it, i only work on these high end vehicles everyday

-Mike

Wow....is this thread for real. There are really people out there like this. Do they only use this site cuz they don't seem to exist on any other site on the internet. Are you serious.....the WHOLE job for 1500.00? That is insane. You are not a smart person to cut corners on a job like that. if it was a fender replacement or a bumper....ok I can see a short cut but that is a STRUCTURAL part of your car. Does that not sink in. I hope you don't have kids and plan on driving them around in that death trap once "repaired". If so some one should call child protective services on you.

But what do we know....we are only three working professionals in the auto collision/body business. Three separate individuals whom all work at different shops that are telling you that you are a moron for considering this.

But like Mike (whom works at one of the most prestigious shops in town) said its your LIFE (not car). I hope you can wrap your head around that...what you might be putting at risk to save some dollars.

My .02 cents

Josh
