What guns do you guys use?
What do some of you guys use,not as far as brand, but model?I was told an HVLP gun works best for matalics, and a RP is better for clears.Give me an idea of what you guys use for primer guns,I was told non HVLP for primer and use a cheap gun, used a cheap gun,and won't do that shit again.I did use a good deville biss for base/clear though, just practicing for now and I'll post up pics of my first painted fender tomorrow to see what you guys think.Anyway,I want to buy a Sata primer gun and a Sata clear gun,and recomendations on model? Thanks for any advice/direction on this.

I tried looking on Sata's web site, but that shit's all in German.Anyway, what's the difference in the #'s?3000 2000?I think I've decided on the SATAjet 100 B for my primer gun,but I'm not sure to get the RP or the HVLP,any differances in spraying primer with an hvlp opposed to rp?

Hvlp is way less over spray and transfer rating is higher. The jet b is good just alot of over spray. The klc is very versatile. I use it to cut in parts base and clear, Spray my boat with gelcoat, and primer with very low over spray. What you looking to spend? I usually rotate all my guns when the new version comes out. might be getting rid of mine
the difference between the 2000 and 3000 is the shape and a little better wider spay pattern. My 2000's didn't have the quick connect cup and the 300 do. this is English Sata usa website SATA.com - Home Last edited by Krucial Kolors : 02-28-2008 at 09:24 AM. |
