Paint/Dye a dash?
Plastic dash for my mustang. Its tan, it needs to be black. Never been painted/dyed before. What do I need to use?
My first inclination is to use Krylon plastics spray paint because I heart Krylon, but I want to make sure I do this right. What type and brand is good for this job? Need a satin type black...you know...OEM color, not really that shiny. |

yes, use the vinyl dye
also, if you have a steering wheel w/airbag and were thinking of dying that, dont! shops used to do that back in the day if they couldnt find the right color for the car, comes to find out, it kinda creates this seal that keeps the airbag from deploying! kinda like painting your windows shut if you will! |
