if your car is actually primer sealer then it will hold up but if you have cheep primer or that stray paint primer it will not and will start to rust where the metal was sanded bare, basicly check and make sure your primer has a sealer in it and didn't come from advance in a can and it will be fine pm me if you need to know anymore

a "flat black" color would be the best coice. Harly davidsons come with it as a option on some bikes, and i have seen a few Datona Dodge Chargers come with it as a 2 tone look with like the yellow and flat black.
just try to find the actual color flat black, its supposed to have a sealer in it and does not require a clear coat.

well the only thing with the flat black is that it does have a clear coat the chargers have a clear coat over the black its just a extra additive in the clear to flatten it because base coat has no uv protection and if you wax basecoat it will come right off so any car that comes factory with flat black there is 2 coats of clear there just with a flattening agent

Thanks for the advice guys.I want to do it in primer sealer for now so down the road when I get tired of it I eventually want to paint it silver.Seems like a less expensive route then painting it twice. The car is kept in the garage aside from play time and is not a daily driver by no means,I just want to get it done and 3-4k on a paint job right now is not in the budget.Anymore opinions are appereciated.
