painting an engine bay

i was just wondering cuz i herd of this working... would it work if u cleared out the engine bay, sanded it, primed it, and painted it with the caliper paint??

A normal automotive paint will work. As long as you give the clear time to harden it will not cause any trouble in the engine bay.

PPG clear can withstand the heat of a engine bay shit PPG cermaclear is used on engine blocks lol but there normal D8150 ,D890 D894 D893 clear will also withstand the heat others i have no clue... just did the engine bay of a 98 eclipse

I painted my engine bay with Krylon spray paint. It looks damn good, too. And the Krylon is rated for how hot its going to get under that hood.
