Repair roof damage

I have a 90 240sx coupe, I'm just wanting to know if roof damage can be repaired on it. I took the headliner off and I think its called a brace or maybe roof support has come off the adhesive that holds it. damage was caused by hood flying up. my question is can it be repaired, what can be done, and how much would it cost. thanks for any help.

usually yes it can be repaired, as long as it is not crushed, and kinked severly, as far as an estimate i would need to see the car/ pics to accurately guage a price. _ mike

whoops, the best repair would be to replace it but i doubt you could even find a Roof for it. and it will prolly be really expensive.

you can repair it but it more than likely will not be Right, and still be expensive as well.

You can smooth it with bondo or something like that I know nothing as far as body work goes so I don't know the terms. And how do you replace a roof?

Yes you can pull and strighten the metal, and then use bondo, (body filler) to fill the imperfections.

AS far as replacing the roof, you have to cut it off and drill out the spot welds, and weld in a new one, and splice it into the quater panels.
