A post for the busy forum.

I have not posted on TR in a while, work being overbearing and my personal time equating to nill. I purchased an E30 325is 5 speed about a year ago for $700.00. The car was daily driven, plus has working HVAC. The power accessories all operate, and the transmission is extremely smooth for a twenty year old piece of metal. Some things came up, and the car sat for about a year exactly. Finally, I have the time and gumption to work on this project. My original plan was to do a straight restoration, boring I know. My plan now is to build the car for SCCA events (Class undecided) and a slight restoration, just to make the car presentable enough to take weekend drives. Here is the progress so far. Sorry for the shitty camera phone pictures, my camera is MIA.

(Not my home!)

As you can see there is some rust holes that will be taken care of, but for the most part the car was quite a bargain and definitely keeps me occupied. I basically have everything out of the car now, sans long block, for cleaning or sleezebaying.
