Lose the roof wing and that is a pretty nice choice Tom...lol
Look at it this way...That car bone stock could probably go for 6k. Engine swap 3500, wheels 1000+, coils 1000, diff 800-1000, probably 2000 in supporting mods...+drift tax.
Whats he asking for it?
As for reading, theres nothing like the DSM community. Nissanroadracing is good for suspension/brakes/tire stuff, but its very slow...Dont know of any good tuning sites offhand. Most google searches will return garbage from Nico and Zilvia lol.

Asking $10k
I`m looking at it for my daughter not me. She will probably like that roof thing.

No to be to hard on your daughter, but, um, I probably wouldn't even buy that for my wife. The average woman in America is more accident prone than a guy. It's proven statistics. That car is too clean and then w/ that engine, she'll spin out probably every corner she turns. Not worth the headache/heartache.

Not a bad asking price for it though, and that roof spoiler has definitely got to go.

What is it about the car that she would spin out at every turn. She has driven a new 5.0 mustang with out problems.
Are these cars really that unstable? Does the rear get lose real easy or just if you floor it around a corner like any rwd?
On the topic of asking price $10k sounds fair I take it? If I bought it and it turns out she doesn't like it or its just not for her ( assuming I don't keep it ) I don't want to not be able to resell it for close to what I bought it for.
Thanks for the help.

Yeah... what he said. No to sound sexist but that car is probably not the best choice for a girl especially if its her first car. My S13 has an SR with probably similar power to that one, and a non-LSD rear end, and every now and then it will still kick out in the rain unexpectedly. Not to mention the fact that driving with coilovers and adjustable suspension is a lot different than a stock or nearly stock vehicle. If she is dead set on getting a 240, I would recommend a modded S13 (if she crashes it, less of a big deal), or a closer to stock 95-96 if shes set on getting an S14.

Ok I have decided if the car is truly worth the $10k I may get it for myself. If she likes it I will find her one like it that's not turbo.
Although I don't know of many cars that handle worse with a upgraded suspension unless you you don't have set right. Like having your car riding on the inside of the tire.
A good suspension, sway bars, tires, etc all set properly I would think would make the car handle great?
So is the car worth the money. If I don't like it how likely will I be to sell it for that amount.
Side not. What kind of power can a stock black top S15 bottom end handle?
