Here are the new mounts, im sending the file off next week to get a few made. (there is also a gusset that goes in the center of the two upright pieces not in this pic) Then im going to start the tranny mount, will be along the same design one piece solid 0.25" steel.

The aluminum block LS1 out of the corvette is light, its not like a diesel

and if someone is looking to do this swap, they shouldn't really be worried about gas mileage. I think its a sick swap for a track car, but it wouldn't work for a DD

well i mean it would work great if you could afford the gas. you figure 11mpg on an s13 tank and your only talking about 150-200 miles before you have to fill up again. i drive that in three days easily

Yeah i haven't looked into it too much because i'm not doing it. but the reason i got a 240 was because it is a 4 cylinder. If i wanted a V8 i would have stuck it out with my mustang.

Well, its cool that your mustang got 11mpg and all, and that you love your 4 cylinder.



However, do some research before you post incorrect information, an LSx 240sx isnt going to be getting 11mpg. Unless you are talking cruising at 130 in 4th gear.
