Here are the engine mounts, this is the old design. I have a new one that is one piece, all cnc laser/braked.


Here is the tranny mount.


It puts the T56 shifter dead center in the stock shifter hole. Also puts the engine as far back in the bay as you can get without doing some heavy firewall mods. The bottom of the GTO oilpan is also level with the bottom of the engine crossmember. No cast aluminum pan sticking down to get ripped off like the other kits out there.

if i do go to ls1 would my chassis be able to withstand it? if so then ls1 it is. cause 1uz sounds to sketchy.

Yeah, without a problem. Plenty of LSx S13/14 running around with no problems.

would those mounts work w/ LT1? or just the tranny mount if t56 tranny is adapted to said LT1.

No they wouldnt, mckinney motorsport has the mounts for SBC, which LT1 uses, you'll also need their front sump pan.

Depends on how you want to do it, you can already see Otto347 is duplicating his way of making the mount setup work, i'm going to be duplicating mine soon. Each setup really varies on where the engine sits and what components to use. I didnt like what was available so I made my own.
