Local shops...
Anyone know of a local shop that does sr swaps? Around how much they cost? How long it takes? I just want a stock swap, no extras. Thanks.

if he built it himself... he's looking for a reputable shop to install a basic swap... yes, the money spent at Z fever could build a high HP for any DIY'er...
ZFever has a basic swap package i think, you wont have to do shit but drop your car off, pick it up in whatever time it takes them, and drive away with a boosted car...
i plug Z Fever because after what Martin did for my car, they're the ONLY other people to touch my car besides myself...

I checked out zfever, its like 4800 for an s13 sr basic package. I may end up doing it myself, but I wanted to see what's out there around here. Zfever looks very promising and like they do good, clean work. I'll keep looking around just to compare though. Thanks for both of your input. It's very appreciated.

i have used zfever for a couple years. they can put sr's in anything. . . and have. Martin is there and does the wiring perfect. it might be a little more than DIY but . . they prep everthing and do a great job.

dude do it yourself. i did my first sr swap in the middle of my cold-a-sac(sp) and my dads driveway when was about 16-17, and by no means was or am i still a mechanical genius lol. but the car was up and running in less then a week.
just buy a already converted harness and thats the entire headache gone.
if you need a place to do it my brother has a 2 bay shop he is renting out for cheap for people to do their own stuff

Even though i'm certain almost everyone whos touched that car before I saw it needs to be tied up and repeatedly smacked with one of those electric bug zapper tennis rackets, you do realize that martin is not the only person around that can splice the few wires needed for an SR swap, right ?
Seriously, its a handful of wires, that the colors virtually straight up match on, hell if you really want to narrow it down you can do the underhood wiring with only having to splice 2-3 wires, give me a break...
Not everyone around here does as high quality work as sink

For 4800 you could buy an SR'd car.
