back about 4 years ago when people with 240's actually went to the track, people with stock cams, stock t25, stock intake manifold were running low 12's. You need some kind of diff and a decent launch. Baby 225 DR's and Azenis were common. These stock SR w/bolt-ons car also consistently trapped 105-106mph, which if you follow drag, is pretty fast for a high 12. Oh yeah, stock rear suspension is a lot better at the strip than coils.
It's all about driving and setup. Vapor's car ran mid 13's with 400whp because it was on all-seasons, but it trapped 120+mph. One of RSE's old customers ran 10.8 with a simple 360whp 2871r setup, because the guy knew how to launch the piss out of a car on Radials.

Yeah tires certainly would have helped me, I was on some nexen ? 215/40/17's, I would have loved to see what the car could have done with the GTIR turbo I installed right after, im sure some injectors with a tune and that would have put down some damn good numbers, as I was running 14-15 psi for the 8.33@84.39 mph run, and right after swapping to the GTIR turbo with circuit sports outlet elbow ran 82 mph on 9 psi with the rest of everything being the same.

There is soooo many variables to this question you'll never get a answer that is 100% correct.
I should take my car to the track and that would be your answer it is like the definition of a stock SR... especially since its low mileage and still in the origional car so no BS problems.

stock motor has lots of variables, like tires, shifter, clutch, suspension . . . i ran 9s in the 1/8 until i put some good tires on (mickey thompsons) then i started running 7.0ish.

I ran a 13.2 at 108mph in the 1/4 with my BPU'd S14 SR at 12-13psi.... This was on street tires and I should've been in the high 12's.
