I did get some good deals today (while busting my ass...hope that nobody saw that) but it was bittersweet. I'm going to miss the convenience, knowledge base and camaraderie of a good shop. XAT helped me re-connect with a lot of my roots and I got to see a lot of good folks from my past.
I really wish the best for everyone and I hope that everyone keeps in touch. My PM box is open for everyone and my brush is always ready to paint...godspeed XAT.
OGcraig out.

Ah, I had to read that a few times to get what you were talking about. In other words, it wasn't a shop that you exclusively used...I was kinda confused.

all in all it sad to see a shop close for whatever reason but as said befor the people who did the work will still be around maby not at the same shop but they will be out there and this will give the nissan people out there a change and a chance for other shop's that have talented and willing people to put out there ideas and skill's on the table for you... change is hard for some but it can be a good thing and as far as your tunning issue's there are MANY other shop's that tune out there and there are some VERY talented tuner's out there that you all havnt met yet and now this give's you the opertunity to find them I myself have a few that I have used many time's in the past and have had great luck with, and many people ready and willing at all time's to answer and help you out with your car need's and question's
so all in all it's sad to see a shop close but dont freak out.

It sucks to see the shop close, but then again it sucked to see Secret Services close 5 years ago. Sometimes you just gotta move on. XAT had a great run. I'm sure everyone is going to land on their feet!
About the tuning, I haven't heard from Martin what he plans to do. I'm not even sure he's back in the country yet. I'm sure he'll be around for tuning wherever he winds up. Enthalpy has been tuning at S&R Performance, so you can always email him for afterhours or weekend work.
