What kind of motor swap can you do in a 91 sentra? Can you do anything to make it fast? Its one of the old square ones.

You can swap in a FWD version of the SR20DET engine. Stock boost is 7psi and puts out around 210hp. Increasing boost to around 12psi will give you around 250hp.
Good for low 13s high 12s in a lightweight(compared to my 240sx) Sentra. This is with a SUPER small T25 turbo.
With an upgrade to a t3/t4 turbo 350-375hp on stock internals is still considered reliable by most on this engine. This hp level should run low 12s high 11s given enough traction.
More specs if you are curious.....
SR20DET Specs
Displacement: 1999cc (2.0 liter)
Cam type: DOHC 16 valve chain driven cam sprockets
Bore and stroke: 86mm x 86mm
Compression: 8.5 : 1
Horsepower: 205hp at 6000rpm
Torque: 203 ft/lbs at 4000rpm
Stock boost: 7 psi
Throttle body bore: 60mm
Turbo: Garret T25/T04B
Injector size: 370cc/min
Still good for around 25-27mpg too

Where can I get one of these motors and how much are they? Who can put one in? Can I use the stock tranny? What other kinds of modifications will I need to make it work? Will nitrous work as good as a turbo? I want it done within 2 months. I am serious. How much would it be from start to finish?

Includes several companies selling these engines.
Also visit http://www.eurostreetgraphics.com/srswap.htm
These sites contain info on the RWD version of the swap. Most info will still apply to you.
You will need engine ECU tranny wiring harness intercooler BOV piping etc.
Running nitrous on the factory 91 Sentra engine will not give you the same power and/or reliability. This option would be MUCH cheaper though.
Engine+Tranny+ECU will run around $2200 - $2600

How can I not get screwed? Who can do it localy start to finish? What do you think it will run in the quarter? Will it be faster from a roll than from a stop? Instead of using a turbo on the new motor will nitrous work as good? Would it be cheaper to buy without the turbo? How fast would it be N/A? Is ther anything that can be done with the stock motor to make it fast? (Head workcams) Or would I be better of with a motor swap? Can the new motor be build up to make more power once I get it?

Come out to the Nissan Meet this weekend and check it out. It seems like there will be a lot of DETs there.
