I am curious, why do you consider that the wrong way? Just curious what you have to say about it...
Because you negatively effected the structural integrity of the chassis allowing it to twist, bend, and warp much easier.

Because if he had installed the cage first then cut out the roof, the car would resist flexing due to the cage, when you go cutting things, THEN install a cage, you give it the chance to flex, and things not be where they should, then weld a cage in, making things permanently wrong.

like everyone else said after i posted, if you cut the chasis, before installing a cage, the chasis will flex and will not be strait. However minimal the flex is or isnt can be argued, but the fact is that it did flex, and you no longer have a strait chasis. shoulda installed a cage first, have fun with a wet noodle. inb4 im a hater, or stupid, or dont know what im tlking about.

its easily fixable for about $15k, not that big of a deal. i have seen some people do things ten times spending that much, he will only do it twice..... or maybe 3 times.
