WhiteNgold's official, uncluttered, almost done, build thread
now that my cars is damn close to bein where i want ti to be, i figureed id start my thread over with as many pics i have.
heres my previous car that i parted out to fund the start of this. in my opinion, it was the best idea.... fwd<rwd

i bought this car in start of 09 with a blown ka, rusty hatch, bent suspension, etc, for $300 from some lady on her way to prison for cocaine charges lol.... i drove it about 2 miles before i realized how fucked it was. it ran 1,000,000 times better without coolant lol. anywayz... swapped in an sr and got some aero and a kouki wing. original plan was to do a 180 kouki replica but dumped that idea real fast.

Then i had it painted because i was too afraid of the outcome if i did it myself. also sat it on some ksport coils....

this is when i decided to change up my whole shit. also started my business at this time aswell. became a dealer with a shit ton of people and got mad discounts on aero ect. bought a uras kit and origin overs. decided i wanted a tucked bay and to "do up" the sr20 for the extremes of sliding it. got a sustec pro powerbrace, rucas, tierods, control arms, 5 lug swap, new bushings, rebuilt rack, etc and went to town

(btw... for those of u who know the this ^ valvecover... the purple one is a diff one)

then had to go thru this mess and extend stuff

set the motor in with fresh garrett gt2871r, worked head, bc cams, edge racing manifold, 3" elbow, HKS downpipe, etc. also relocated p/s resovoir and brake line routing (lines didnt get left like that)

and now ready for painting the rest of the car... lots of time went into this and thanks to alex and devin for the help. also thnx to cagedeyecam for the new(old) hatch.

wet sanded and buffed for a deep shine. also installed my cage(doodoo)....

sorry for the iphone pics......
decided to paint my gsxr same color:
before:
after:

then Bride seat and takata harness was installed along with battery relocate, blitz dual sbc, greddy timer, trust shift knob, jdm cluster, gauges, etc. then it was off to import face off for its maiden voyage.... it was fucking HORRIBLE!!!!! first ten min of driving wass good til i leaned into the throttle and it started spitting n sputtering under boost.... whatever... just drive normally. get onto sr64 and 1-2 shift i hear a snap and i have no clutch pedal. the assembly broke at the welds and was mangled underneath the dash. after about 10 min of ziptieing and 3 vise-grips, i get it to where i can sort of drive it there. since i wasnt doing ne driving there i didnt care. i got into the line for entry and it was wasted. had to push it most of the way into the spot.

after it was all over... i got it to just barely work again and we left. got a about 3-4 miles away and it was fucked. towed it back. so theres still more to come.... ALOT more to come. I'm also in the market for rims too. i got 2k to spend and want some nasty deep 18's... x10 or 10.5 and x12 or 12.5 neg offsets. sliderite(derek) has the sizes i want so hes on the lookout but if u guys see anything lmk. i left out a bunch of shit. im getting tired so ill be updating regularly. 2moro ill be welding up and boxing in my new clutch pedal assembly and puttin in some sort of musical device. and on a side note...this car will be slid alot and daily driven...Last edited by WhiteNgold; 01-23-2011 at 12:08 AM.
