Kouki project.
So im going to start this thread mainly because it was pretty fun reading up on others builds reguardless if they were going all out or not. I wasnt going to start one, just post one when i was done...but i decided itd be more fun this way after looking at jason913's zenki.
I got the car a little over a month ago so ill just start as if i began the thread then, and add on to it in diff post for each mod in order.
It all started when i put a down payment on a 04 mustang gt, rims, intake etc..little stuff that i did to make it stand out from the other 300 billion on the street. End result after close to three years...
RIP My muscle career, time to play with boost
So i started looking for a good platform, i could afford right away, because i started up school agn in a month and needed a dd (It being my dd, your not going to see it stripped down or too much custom work done unless a reliable dd falls out of the sky onto my driveway). I decided on a 240.

I liked the kouki style the most, so without research i dived right in. did some overnight research after i bought it and came up with a basic understanding on 240's. It Has a ka24de, 5 spd...later learned its a conv on a 96 and has a few problemos...
Like the bumper is supported by 2x4's.....
Small power steering leak, small oil leak...
It has hotshot headers, 3' exhaust, alum radiator and the intake.
but overall not to bad of a car to enter the nissan world with

Let me know if i should just stop now..... ill start with the mods after i cook and eat some dinner.Last edited by Jared Noriega; 12-05-2010 at 05:13 PM.

I found some good parts at a good price so i picked them up and just waiting on the 5 lug hubs to come in the mail to throw them on.

d2's and some 10 inches in the rear should give me some grip.

I couldnt stand the loud civic exhaust on it that flapped and squirted the worst noises i have heard from a nissan (sorry if the previous owner reads...)

Looks not so bad eh? wrong.....notice how he had welded some pipe in to fill the gap..

and then i threw the car up on some jack stands yesterday and swapped it with this one

(had to buy brand new test pipe cause noone local spoke up on the for sale forum.....)

Damn dude. How didn't you notice the 2x4's when you inspected it? lol
Anyways, I'm glad my car got you to put yours up. I put mine up, because I love watching other peoples' progress. So now I get to watch yours. Nice pick up on the coils and wheels.

Very nice looking car, should look 100x better once those wheels are on, are they still staggered set or you doing all 18's ?
Oh and 240sx's dont have a radiator shroud like you're used to seeing, thats why its not there.

Ahaha guys reguardless it didn't have one to lean on when I bought it, so I didn't see wood... No need to argue over my mistake :]
And yea they are stag, 18x9 19x10... Wish it was 18 all around tho... Part of buying parts on a deal.
