Here is a little update. I had a chance to pick up a set of JDM (yes even say nissan on them) split turn signals (...thanks silviakid).

As you can see I needed a drivers side anyway thanks to a bird thats failed in its flying attempt...



The cloudy swirls on the split lights are polish to clean them up before installing.

These came complete with the proper harness and bulbs because they run 2 lights instead of the usual single bulb.



unfortunately the sockets for the bulbs were quite corroded...even after a sanding wth 800 grit sandpaper and spray with electric contact cleaner along with new bulbs the largest of the 2 bulbs still didnt light.

So i spliced the harness...connecting to the appropriate lines...





coated with a nice coat of dielectric grease to hopefully stop that from happening again and here they are....





and one more shot... (SE's all the way around now...)

Jamessp65 pm'd a great question about what my plans are for the car. The best I can come up with @ this point is the following:

Plans for the car change based on the $$ available, as you can imagine. But keeping it realistic, my plans are to do complete poly-bushings, larger sway-bars, and limited slip diff up grade since its currently an open diff, and lastly a 5 lug and Z brake upgrade to match the aluminum uprights i've got.

I would imagine about the time i finish that I'll be in need of an engine rebuild or swap...which would more than likely be to a Black Top SR.

Thanks guys. I just picked up my new energy suspension bushings for the front control arms. I'll snap some pix of them and the install process. I plan on burning the old bushings out tonight.

Chome...help a brotha out with that emblem...lol!!!

where did you pick them up at individually(not with the kit)? i was funna try autozone.

Yes, I got them at Autozone. Took a day to get them. $24 for a pretty red set.
