I don't think I would agree with your last statement. NVCS compliant cams would really keep the low-end trq available. I kept them in my car and see 315ft-lbs at 4800rpms w/ the 3071R. You'd see your peak trq much earlier with the smaller more responsive turbo you're rocking.

Its not worth spending the $300+ on getting a new one right now. If it does get replaced it wont be any time soon, car will be fast enough with out it. I'm not sure it ever worked in the first place. I guess we'll see once I get the motor running again.

Its officially dead. I pulled the rear wheels, suspension and uprights off it today and installed on the new car. Tomorrow is the front suspension, wheels, seat and steering wheel.
I'll probably end up parting out whats left of the red car i.e 5lug, full 5spd swap, interior, exterior, headlights and what other misc things then cutting up the chassis and sending it to the scrap yard.Team White Car 2010

The motor blew last month, but I rebuilt it. I just wanted chris's car since it has lots of neat bits on it and its white. My red car is fine, just wanted something less race car.

Hey Dan, I got your text earlier. My brother spoke with my dad, and he said he should look for a running car rather than a project. I'd like to pick this thing up myself, but I already have too many cars. lol I'd hate to see it get cut to pieces. I might have a friend that would be interested. I'll ask him tomorrow.
