HELP....Having trouble putting together a clutch setup that will hold power
Building a balls to the wall ,short-cut free turbo 420a, i have converted from the stock modular setup to the 95 neon standard 3-piece clutch assembly . I have brought this issue to the attention of Tim at Tampa clutch , he told me straight up the neon pressure plates are garbage, and even with extensive modification would still only put out about 1600 psi clamping force ,which he states wont hold above 275 hp. ACT makes a mean pressure plate for my setup but they refuse to sell me just the pressure plate , but they want me to buy pressure flywheel and all from them , I say 700 bucks fuck that . I am aware of the audi pressure plate mod , sounds iffy to me i would rather have something that just bolts up . If anyone has any (Positive advice ) or tips please point me in the right direction , this is the last part of my build and am sooooo close ,plus i don't wanna put down a little torque and slip my clutch

its funny to see a post saying you want to go balls to the wall and then say 700 for a clutch is expensive.
You gotta pay to play bro.
I just put a comp clutch twin in my car . $1200 drives really good for a twin.
when i had an evo it was 1600-2200 for a good clutch .. count yourself lucky at 700NATT Certified
