My Blue Baby started right up after sitting for over a year !

So just over a year ago the Marine Corps sent me to Cali. Well I recently got a chance to get back to Florida for a quick vacation. The ol' eclipse was still sitting there under the cover like I left her, I took the cover off and opened the door, it smelt horribly of mildew. took the battery out and charged it. the next day I hooked it back up and did not actually expect the car to start, especially with the old gas lol:

Well the point of this post is that these cars are a addiction, and after taking it for a drive around the block I relapst. Strongly considering getting it shipped to Cali so I can put all my effort into this car to finally get it at the level I always wanted.

Well it was hard to stay out of the game since the Marine 2 houses to my left is a huge DSM guy, he has a 1g and a 2g. and from what I have heard when he leaves the house they are not your average 16g powered cars. also the guy 3 houses to my right has a pretty nice Evo which is definitely not stock. When the car gets here I plan to do a complete rebuild, nothing crazy mainly just OEM and topline parts. also need to decide if im sending the gearbox out for rebuild or just buying a used one. for the first time this is not my only vehicle so i'll be able to tear it down and put the work in whenever I have the time. having your toy be your daily driver is way to stressful.
