Mitsu. Tech Picture Thread!!! Let's see em...
some ppl like the lowered thing thats fine for show and shit. when it comes to true performance and going fast stock ride height or suspension travel is always the best. there is a point when lowering a car of no return. Most ppl that lower there car have no idea what a good suspension is really like.

I'm not into "slamming" a car. I hate the way wheel gap looks. Taller rim/tire combo, with a slight drop makes a HUGE difference in appearance. But ofcourse, offroad use it would be pointless. Different strokes for different folks.
Looks good Jerry!
I love the way mines lowered... No bounce, DD with no issues.

I have never driven lowered mitsubishi that I liked, except for my own. in which I dont use a lowering spring. mitsu shocks have very little travel to start with. shortening the travel kills the strut in short order . I lower my cars by redrilling mount in the rear. and in the front I lower the perch on the strut itself. that way you get a lowered car with factory ride unaltered. thats the way the blue car is done. but even then it doesnt fly over the speed tables like the evo 4 does.
I have driven dozen diffferent lowering springs on mitsubishis. none of which met my needs.
to each his own on the lowering thing. I prefer nice riding car.
plus the front spoiler would get killed first week driving around tampa. notice evo 1 doesnt have front spoiler. it would live if it had one. the lower bumper scrapes regularly as is. thats why I decided against evo3 conversion on the car. the evo 3 front spoiler makes the car in the looks catagory as does evo 4 spoiler, but it wouldnt survive.

it all depeneds on personal preference. some people like a nice stiff suspension that can handle cornering well, some like the spongyness off the stock suspension. and i thought thats the purpose in the adjustable struts and different spring rates when you buy lowering springs. ive ridden in plenty of cars only lowered 1-2" that ride just like stock but with a much better appearance. and omgosh, when you put lowering springs on the stock struts, the struts are too short and bottom out, mainly on the bump stop, and then when you get rid of that, or shorten it, it blows out the seals from all the extra pressure.
We don't care about you or your car since you left.... jk!
