need some input for myself

So my friend who snapped his timing belt, I'm thinkin of buyin his motor for myself. Even tho I don't know if its even worth tryin to fix, but it'd be nice having some extra parts around so if I have to send any parts out for port and polish or anythin my car won't be out of comission or if I just need the parts lol. But i l'm not to sure on how much to pay for it. The only good thing is a set of dc headers. Everything else is stock. And because I don't know how much is wrong with the motor. What's a resonable offer to make. I was thinkin 250 to 300 foreverythin. Which would basically cover the headers. And since the motor isn't runnig anyways, I don't think its that bad for a busted 420. What does everyone else think??

250 tops. you can get a decent 4g63 for 500. who knows what needs to be replaced. why not pull the head first?

That's around what I was thinkin, and only cause of the headers. And because he doesn't want to and he really don't have the resources to do it. So I figured id try gettin some spare parts and decent headers lol
