Quick Question/Long Explaination

So I decided to put my CD player in earlier tonight at a gas station while i wait for a few friends to meet me, and my battery died because i drained it completeley. stupid move. then someone helped me with a jump. the car starts up no problem. i go into reverse to back out then it dies again. so we push start it and it turns on and immediatley dies. tried that 3 times, nothing was working. then i noticed my alternator had a screw with nothing on it and there is a bracket holding wires so i bolted the bracket to it assuming its a ground so i jump it again and go for a drive and an ic pipe blows off. i fix that then jump it again. all of a sudden my lights are dim, headlighs, taillights, interior and all. i figure the battery needs to charge so i go for a drive. car makes it for about 2 miles with dim ass lights just slowly dimming more and more until theyre off. somehow the cars still going for a quarter mile, then the car starts misfiring and then popping really bad. then my lower passenger control arm unbolts itself and falls off and the car immediateley pulls hard to the right! im like WTF! maybe its an alternator? i dont think so. the battery is brand new, alternator is/was good as far as im concerned. the car drove fine for the whole day. and as soon as i put my CD player in which DIDNT END UP WORKING! the whole car completeley shits on me. why all of a sudden would i have battery/alternator problems out of nowhere when the car was perfect the whole day? maybe im answering my own question.

I had a alternator that i got from advanced that took a shit in like 2k miles. Its defiantly your alternator, thats whats causing your lights to go dim and all the electrical stuff stops working and slowly dies out. Do you have the lips on the end of the I/C piping?

i think your right. i had it tested today and they said its charging at 15 volts but its bad and it wont work because of the (i forgot, something like a disc or whatever word they used) they said, so i need a new one. By lip do you mean the little humps that go around the tip like a ring? Im using a stock sidemount and the IC pipe that keeps blowing off is the plastic one thats under the fusebox that connects on top of the sidemount. I tightened it as much as i could but it keeps popping off! I know its not rocket science but its supposed to be stock and it keeps blowing off

You should have someone hook up a computer to your car. I'm pretty sure your throwing a code. Most common one I can think of off the top of my head is the ID-10T error. Seriously have someone look at it. It'll fix the pipe blowing off too.
