TO4B 47 Trim.....help
![]() This is the turbo im planning to put on my car in the next 2 weeks...but i havent heard anything good about it except from guys where im planning to have it installed at...it supports 380-400 hp safely and whet im trying to figure out is if this is a better option for a stock 2g as oppose to a small mhi 16g turbo.. any opinion/guidance would be helpfull..

and also my other question is, ive seen some turbos with the intake directley onto the turbine wheel, obviously i cant do that (MAF) or is there a way other than the obvious translator??? is it even worth the effort ? keep in mind i still have stock intake...stock everything minus some ic piping....

I installed this turbo on a evo 16g car. There was a noticeable gain, not huge, but noticeable. Both where at the same psi. Spool was nearly identical. Not a bad turbo for about the same cost of a 16g. It bolts up and is internally gated, no coolant lines, you have to modify for the oil lines and fan clearance.
I personally would save a few more pennies and get something bigger like a 50 trim or 35r (or anything ball bearing). |
