turbo question
I just picked up a turbo online to use for a project im working on and the guy said it was a t28 from a 1st gen talon/eclipse . im trying to clock the turbo so the center housing is straight. My first question is :
Does the oil inlet on the center turbo housing need to be straight up? or can it be on the bottom? I loosened up the bolts on the half circle plates to turn the housing and it seemed stuck. My next question is : Is the housing pressed into the exhaust housing or is it just hard to pull apart?and what should i use to loosen it up? thanks in advance. Any help would be great! |

Like JR said, gotta have the inlet up and the drain down, otherwise you might as well not even hook oil lines up. Is that a rail buggy thats goin in? That would be nice, I cant really tell from the pics, but it could be a T25 from a 2G eclipse, but not by the looks of the exhaust housing.
