2g pistons in a 6 bolt

I am planing on putting 2g pistons in my 6 bolt for the higher compression but I need to know what I need to do to make them fit.. thanks

i thought you were parting out? if your using the 1g rods, youll need to open wrist pin bore to 22mm and the pin end of the rods need to be narrowed to 1.040''

Nope not parting out, I was gonna part out but then decided to just sell every possible thing that I don'tneed or am not gonna need to pay to build a nice motor to drop in it

You need the machine work Brandon spoke of. You also need the pistons, of course. All this adds up to just going for new forged pistons. The cost is the same.

16ggst is an unknown quantity at this point: 616
just use 6 bolt rods and you have to machine the rods to fit the connecting pins.. i did it on my last 6 bolt.

its the stock bore size and everything.. all that needs changed is small machining on the rods.. I think the place i went to charged me like 20 bucks
