Hey Everyone

Whats up guys? Im new, so I just wanted to introduce myself. I have a 1984 Buick Grand National (Yes its real, and no its not fast) and I just got a 2003 Focus hatchback. The GN has intake and exhaust, thats about it. The Focus has a cold air and 2" drop. I work at a local parts house (I wont say which) and I go to USF.

The GN is one of the greatest cars of the 80s (in addition to the one pictured below) so if it is working and has some plumbing mods why is it not fast?

Its not fast because I have the 84 model, which was the first year of the GN. So naturally it has some engineering flaws, like no intercooler.

Trust me, I have thought about it many a time. The only thing holding me back is it is the rarest GN. There were only 2,000 made in 84, and next year it will be 20 years old. So after much debate I am going to leave it as stock as possible in hopes that one day it will be worth money.

good thinking... I used to have a 1973 dodge dart with facory sunroof, and was possibly the only one made in that color combination (red paint, parchment interior, black vinyl top)

So what do I do? paint it viper yellow, and sell it for about 1/3 what I have in it... yay!

I would personally do as many reversable modifications as I could to make the car what I want, that way when its time to sell it you can just take it apart and sell it stock...
