new s13 on the block
Its apparent that I am a new member here. I'm on my 8th car in 3 years now, and I finally have a car I am proud to own. I bought this 1989 240sx a little less than a month ago and I have to say that this is the most fun I have ever had driving.
SR20 swapped, although its non turbo... for now.
The guy I bought it from started hooking it up to be a drift car. He custom made a 4pt roll cage and had the car slammed about an inch or so. First lowered car I have had that was NOT scraping and pogo sticking everything in the road.
anyway, other than that, this car is pretty much stock and I have no idea where to start. Looks are secondary, I would rather have an ugly car that would walk off on a ferrari, than a ferrari that couldn't beat a station wagon.
I was thinking exhaust first (always a fan favorite), but after that, I have no idea. Nothing too expensive just yet (still in college fml) but I definitely want to start getting this show on the road.
The bright ass blue light in the cab is the fuel pump switch if you were wondering lol

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.– the late Tom Thrash SCCA Solo E Production
