New guy from SWFL
Hello everyone, heard of the site for awhile now but never got around to signing up, till now that is. Seems very cool so far. I especially like that you have a paint section as thats what i do for a living.
Look forward to posting here. I saved this car from being a parts car at my shop when I started there. She went from this.... ![]() To this.... ![]() ![]() ![]() Unfortunately its only got a V6 at this time, plans call for a LS motor, preferably a LS2. Lots and lots of work still to be done. |

Great car. Something I'd work on. The aftermarket is much greater than an LS2, if I may lay down an opinion. Plus, the whole thing will cost you less overall. But then again, a turbo V6 will eat an LS's ass up any day. The 3800 is on the same platform as the Grand National motor. Chew it up and tell me what you think; I'm here all week =]

Well the Nissan V6 (if that's what your friend is into) isn't something I know about. Tried and true would be to do a T66 kit onto it, or something in the general area. But if you're leaning more the V8 way, which, here in AL, would save you assloads on insurance, the natural tendency would be to go with a LS1. Cheap, free-mods on an LS1 would add about 30 hp to the stock rating. Take off the shitty heads and get some ported LS6's, along with an LS6 intake. Comp Cams (no need for a bigger one. Smaller NEVER means slower!). If you need some help on LS1-related topics, hit me up. I've got friends running 8's with a daily driver, no joke.
