New to the scene

Hey...just wanted to say HI to everyone...and tell you a little bit about myself. Recently got into autocross...which is a lot of fun but unfortunately my car is all stock...(for now) and is meant to go fast in one direction hehe...so not sure how far I'll go with autocrossing. I love to drive fast and know how to do it...(however, there is always something new to learn) Thought maybe I could get into something new that my car is better suited for...and thought maybe some of you wouldn't mind helping me get into the scene and show me the ropes...so holla atcha girl!

did you autox the other weekend with the SCCA in Brooksville? I saw a girl with a mustang in the Novice class. what class will you be in when you are done with novice? even as a stock Mustang in a stock class it can be very challenging.

I am SML with my 91 Civic Hatch.

Welcome to TR.

Yeah that was me! What day were you there sat or sun? sun was not such a great day for me...I ran a 61 in the am but couldn't come close in the afternoon...my car just couldn't catch the corners on the course...I missed 1st by 2.5 secs...I ran much better on saturday...but you are right- unless I do some mods autoXing is definitely going to be hard in a mustang...When I'm out of novice I'll be running GSL...

Doesn't Ford sell some sort of performance handling kit
for Mustangs? Sway bars, etc?

Welcome to TR. If you need some installation muscle,
just ask.-Bob

Honestly I haven't really looked too much into the mods available for it yet...I just bought it in August and have had a lot going on with school, work and family...I definitely have an idea of what I want to do...There are a few kits available...So I appreciate the offer to help...I will def let you know. Probably after xmas.
P.s. Thanks for the welcome
