Sup

Just wanted to say hi to everyone, I'm not new to forums (been on various ones for about 2 years now) but I finally found a decent sized forum based in FL. I just thought that was pretty cool, even if I am from Miami and now live in Gainesville (go to UF).

Anyway, I have a 1993 Chevy Lumina, which is a shit car but the bench seat comes in handy on dates () and it is in decent condition even after some pretty good accidents and almost 160,000 miles. My main mods are VTEC and SiR badges to mock Honda boy wannabes (not that you can't hook up Hondas, but if you're from Miami, u know what kind of person I'm talking about ) and 3 Inifinity 12" Reference subs at 300 Watts RMS per sub (given to me with an enclosure by a friend), and an Audiobahn 1200 watt @ 1 ohm mono digital Amp, w/ the subs running in parallel.

I definately want a better car, perhaps a 240sx project car or a 1st gen Eclipse/Talon AWD to play with (if I get enough money to keep up with the maintenance of a DSM ), but being jobless (next semester I should have a job) and a student, and living in the dorms (next year off campus), I don't have the means to get anything better, and I'm not complaining, I've always been happy with my car even though it was a hand-me-down from my sis, so don't think I'm some ungrateful prick of a mamma's boy (well, maybe momma's boy is appropriate).

This forum seems like a cool place and the people seem cool, so I hope that my car doesn't make everyone think I'm an idiot (as many forums have automatically assumed, I've noticed), I learn as much as I can about cars online and I take great pride in understanding the different aspects of every type of car: Japanese, German, Domestic, etc.

Sorry about the length, I find people give me shit about my car and my username, which I just picked on a whim in 6th grade for AOL, and have stuck with it since for a lot of things, although I usually like the General's army over Ford's shit .

Cliff notes: Hello!

Hey thanx man, the system does sound alright, but I need to rewire it and it definately needs a cap. I would like better subs too, but I have no money so forget that. I do need something to insulate my trunk up tho, cuz it rattles like crazy. Isn't there foam that can fix that or something?
