As promised, we are now presenting our newest addition to the MCOR Shop Forum. We will now be featuring TR members rides/boats that have had custom installs here at MCOR. Only the nicest will make it in here. Lots of clean/clear JL, Alpine, and mobile video. You will be suprised what some TR members REALLY do drive!

This member was concerned with not loosing ANY interior storage on his baby. But, he also wanted big clear sound with an attractive yet simple install. We went with JL Audio's new 13Tw5 flat subwoofer with the new HD 750/1 amp to power it. Next was the installation of all four JL Audio Evolution TR 6.5" Component sets running off the JL HD 600/4 amp. All Stinger Pro wiring, interconnects, fuse/holders, etc. The center of the system is Alpine's new IVA-W203/P1 double din navigation/bluetooth/DVD head unit.

He asked, we delivered. Thanks Mike for making the one hour drive from Crystal River for this install (not to mention the car rental)!!!

Price tag, approximately $4200...

(BTW-the black carpet on the upper portion is factory installed. We installed the Ford matching tan carpet over the box and the amp rack. It looks better than the factory black crap up top and the customer is coming back to have it upholstered complete with our carpet as an upgrade. Keep your eyes on this truck-MUCH more to come on this one...)

This customer wanted the best that Alpine had to offer for his brand new 2009 VW Jetta. We delivered with the Alpine IVA-W505 double din navigation/DVD head unit, reverse day/night bullet camera, steering wheel control integration, and Sirius Satellite Radio. Upgrades to factory speakers are next to come...

Jeff's GTO. Two 12's are built in a custom box in the wheel well. Speaker grill cover not my taste but that is what the customer wanted on this budget!

Mazda 3 with JL 12w7 HO Ported Box and JL 1000.1 amp. (Raised trunk floor to accomodate wiring also). Clean, basic install as per customer request...

Joey's 08 Escalade EXT. Twin JL 12" W3's in simple walled enclosure, JL G4500 mids/highs amp, JL G1700 sub amp, Cleansweep running off of factory Navigation head unit, JL Evolution TR650CSi components front and rear. This was a clean install and even cleaner sound-just what Joey asked for...

Price Tag-$2100.

This is Chris's Grabber Orange Nova. It is a track monster and a weekend cruiser. His request was some clean sound, but completely removeable quickly for track duty. It also needed to be show worthy. Tall request but the head installer "Kevin" came through.

Is was built so that with one large connector, and 4 wing nuts, the entire rack, sub/box, etc could be removed. This job was acheived in under 6 hours and customer was absolutely excited with the end result. (Will post new pics when he completes the trunk refinishing).

And, all doors, deck, and trunk were to be completely dynamatted and hushmatted. The sound is ROCK-solid (another Kevin build)...

I'm going to elaborate a little bit

The car in the above pics is a 2008 Accord sedan.
The equipment list was:

Tru Technology Billet 4100

Stinger power/ground, Straight Wire rca's and speaker wire

The SSLD6 is only temporarily unused because the customer didn't have enough money for 3 more sets of Straight Wire rca's, so he will plug that in later. The customer also wanted to keep the spare tire and the amps wouldn't mount on either side of the trunk without extensive work, so since I had a day-and-a-half deadline, the Billet is mounted on the back of the back seat, and everything else went in the drawer setup.

The only thing I have to say is that Dynaudio is unbelievable. The midbass from a 6.5" driver (or technically 7") is absolutely insane.
