what shop do you trust for your Mazda?
Purchased recently an '07 miata with MOSS supercharger kit installed. Car is mint, never been beat on, and has drivability issues (electrical or vacuum is what it feels like). I beleive the issue is from the piggyback ecu controllers that cam with the kit since shaking them and their wiring harnesses can cause the symptoms to appear and go away. I chawsed the wires and vacuum hoses and thought i had it good to go but the issue is still there.
Would like to just drop it off and have someone who knows what they are doing take a look at it. Who would you guys recommend?

There are enough speed shops in Tampa that could check that issue out for you, just gotta look around, does not have to be a mazda specific shop eaither.

I have a hard time trusting people to work on my cars. I trust Bill Currie Ford to work on my wifeys car. I've been taking it there for the past two years and not once ever had a problem or been ripped off. All my RX-7's have been worked on by me or friends only. When I first got into it nobody wanted to work on it or knew how to work on it so I had to learn on my own... A lot of people I've meet, known, or from TR prefer Maztech. I've been there a few times several years ago and his prices have always been too high for the simplest stuff.

Driving definitions: Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and Torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Like some others have mentioned, I've only heard of good things from Jeff at maztech. But from what I understand, he prefers working on stock cars rather than heavily modified cars. Either way, it's probably better to pay a little higher to have a trusted shop work on your car than a shady one.
