idk about tampa.

but as far as st.pete goes, about 5 of us mazda owners meet up at parkside mall on sunday nights, at about 8:00pm. we'd like to have more mazdas, so come down.

btw: what kind of mazda do you have ?

This'll be my trade-in for an FD (hopefully) or an Rx8, but i really just want to connect with other enthutiasts/racers/whatever

Talking

You've got an Rx8? how is it? I ve been told it can take turns like a dream, but its limited so one would have to modify it to get its full potential, but you didnt hear it from me

SazabiRotary7 and Smokeyxrt, you both should come out to the st.pete meet, its in parkside mall at the end of the target parking lot, across from the gamestop and t-moblie store.

here is the link for the meet:

If that 626 is running well and doesn't have ridiculous high mileage on it, i'd hold on to it and take the extra time and save up for having both cars. The FD can be daily driven but I wouldn't recommend it, they burn through gas like you wouldn't believe especially if you have a heavy foot.
If you go for the RX-8 then you can sell off the 626, 8's are totally daily driver sports-like cars by design.

So then I should hold on to the 626 and eventually trade it in, sounds good.
I didnt know about FDs and there poor gas mileage, that really blows.
Maybe when my situation improves then it could be a possibility, till then guess Ill have to settle for daydreams

my FC generally will get 15 around town and about 25 on the highway
the FD I had got about 9 around town and maybe 20 on the highway if I didn't put my foot in it

from the RX-8 guys I've talked to they're getting about the same as my FC

There really is nothing economical about an FD, but you really won't care about that when you're in it.
So a word of advice, do not sit in an FD or god forbid drive one until you are ready to own one - you'll sleep better at night.
