Victor's Active Autowerke S54 HKS Level 1.5 Project... Now Stage 2!!

Well here is one of our latest projects that we have tackled for a customer, it was a lot of fun and we are glad that Victor gave us the opportunity to turn his S54 ZM3 into a street monster!


Car: 2001 S54 ZM3 Roadster

Kit:

Part 1:
-Active Autowerke Stage 1.5 HKS Kit
-Active Autowerke Headers
-Active Autowerke Low Temp Fan Clutch
-AEM gauges w/ ATI Gauge Pod


-NOTE- There is no "kit" for the ZM3 as this is a E46 M3 system retro-fitted for the ZM3, and when we started the project Active gave us the option to go rotrex (which we have done before on a Mcoupe, so we knew it fit) or go with the HKS system which had never been attempted on a roadster by anyone including Active. After talking with Craig about fitment, we were pretty sure we could make it work, although we knew it was going to take some of our own bracket making and re-location of different components, but it would be well worth the benefit of having the HKS blower vs the rotrex, and it's always nice to be the first and only .

Well after much debate Victor decided to upgrade to stage 2 without even getting the car back from stage 1!

Stage 2 Consists of:
-Stage 2 AA Fuel system
-AA Water/Meth Injection System
-Stage 2 software
-Smaller 12psi Pulley for HKS blower

-Unfortunately the battery tray that the car comes with we could not utilize the battery tray the kit comes with, so we went with a simple custom installation, in a location requested by the customer.
